'The little boy' refers to the fact that my daughter constantly reminds me that she is a boy, not a little girl. It may have something to do with how much she adores her big brother and wants to be just like him!

Custom shoes for my daughter

Found these as good as new shoes in a secondhand shop in Copenhagen, and decided to do my first pair of custom shoes. My daughter loved them and wanted only to wear these shoes for a long time. Now they've lost to a pair of lilac rainboots :).

Eraser stamp monster

Yesterday I decided to give stamp making a try. So I searched the net for advice, tools and materials. I found a lot of interesting posts, videos, technics and tips. Bottomline is you need cutting tools, some sort of carving block, a drawing, and an ink pad. Below I have made a short list of some of the more common carving blocks I found:

Erasers
The one you used (but never had) in school, because you used them to throw at you class mates or doodle on or take apart in small piceses daydreaming.

Speedy-Cut
White carving block made from high density rubber and very easy to carve (so they say). I have not yet used them.

Speedy-Carve
Pink carving block. Should be like carving butter, not sure thats a good thing :)

Marster Carve
Made by Staedtler from soft vinyl. Very easy to carve. Most expensive (so they say). I have not yet used them.

Sadly I also found that the Speedy and Master carving blocks are not sold anywhere in Copenhagen (please tell me if you know a place) Sigh! My eager and very impacient child inside, did not have time to wait for an over seas delivery, so what to do what to do?? I had to settle for the old school rubber.

It's a bitch to work in especially when you don't have the right tools (didn't have time to wait for them either, arrrrghh). But I made it and this is the result:

My first mural painting

This weekend I painted my first ever mural painting in Westend Copenhagen. The wall is lend out by Rumkammerat and the people who live there to artist in a project called Wild at Westend. Read more about in here.
It took me about a day (8 hours) to finish it. It's wall paint and acrylic markers. Here are the result and a couple of pictures of the process.

Finally I got the time to send out the presents I promised in the Giftgame back in April.

Rebekah got a Carl-Emil illustration and Fabio got a monster block. Rebekah has recieved her present but I don't know if Fabio has recieved his yet. The last person I had to sent to was Mika, but I'll just visit her and bring the present along. So you'll have to wait and see what see gets!

Shot story illustrations

I did a couple of illustrations for a shortstory art project in Rumkammerat. This is what came out of it!

The above shown illustrations was done for the strories "The art" (A discription of the art that lives inside you), "bucket" (about a girl who always laughed so much she had to pee there and then) and "Granpa the buchter".

An illustration made before the story. The storyteller had to write based on the illustration.

Rune Drewsen and I made at Zine as a birthday present for Joan Tarrago today. Joan and Margue López two brilliant Spanish artist have been in Copenhagen this week to paint the walls at Westend and to prepare their exhibition DIY - Punk culture's best gift!. The exhibition opened at Rumkammerat today on Joans birthday, so we decided to make him a present.
Below is my contirbution to the Zine.

I now regret being so egozentric that I only scanned my own pictures. I would have loved to show you all of it. But time was shot, and pages where many, sorry.

Jubii I finished a wallpainting I started months and months ago. I'm pleased with the result, but would love to do more and get more experience with the wall "canvas".

Below are details from the painting. I wish I could tell you the story behind the characters, but there is none, but maybe there will be some day. The people with animals on their head are someone I regularly draw.

A hole turned into a stag

A while ago I bumped into a fruite case in the local supermarket and tore a hole in my favorite jeans. What to do, what to do?
I have a thing for cross stitching and I had som neon yarn....So I thought what about making a stag where there once were a hole? And so I did...The result is to be seen beneath. I'm quiet pleased with the result myself and I'm wearing them today.

Rumkammerat (gallery and workspace) has again this year made a christmas calendar. Everyday a new present will be opend. For those of you who are unable to follow the opening of the presents realtime, you'll have the opputunity to see what's todays treat on Rumkammerats webpage.

If you see something you like you can buy it at the low low price of 200 kr a pice. (aprox 27 euro). But note that you'll have to buy before the 18th of December if you want it before christmas...and this is only if you are local.

I've gone all in with crocheting. I love it. It's such a grateful media. Just start somewhere and end up with let's say.....hmm eehhhh A Monster Ipod Purse.

Although I'm very proud of this (I learned crocheting this summer...from the internet), it's only a prototype. Thanks to my genius boyfriend who only minutes after I finished the critter, said 'Ohh yes and then it would be cool if the mouth could open so you could use the click wheel!'. Hmmm.

Sooowee this is a prototype! The next one will have a mouth you can open. Untill then enjoy!

Christen Bachs spiders

In 2005 - straight after school - Christen Bach made a series of 13 shorts called Christen Bach's Spiders for a tv-show on Danish TV. the salary was covered expenses, and due to a too tight schedule in the program, most of them didn't even make it into the show...This is one of them.

I did the interior and character design. It is a long time ago so...

It started out as a brown ball and ended up as a Teddybear with a wooden leg.

Let me start by thanking Mette Mikkelsen for introducing me to Amigurumi and crochet and for provinding me with brow yarn to make my first Amigurumi.

I ran out of yarn, just before finishing the last leg. So I thought a wooden leg would have to do.

A brand a friend of mine came up with and under which she designs childrens clothes. Directly translated it means Funny Mum.

The classic is a bit thicker and mat glossy. The recycled has got a lovely rouhgness to it. They both
